Teachers, save “Google earth compass directions” to assign it to your class.

Choose a starting location. Your first location must be our school. Click on compass until the red end points to North. Click on the 'measure distance' ruler icon. Then click one on your starting location and double click on your end location. Your first end location must be somewhere in the UK. Click the compass again so that the red arrow points north. Take a print screen so that you can see your start and end location and paste it to Microsoft Publisher. Write the distance between the two locations and the directions in a text box. Save your file as a PDF. Add and upload to the geography folder!
