Cup Stacking

Student Instructions

Watch the introductory video with your team. Essential Question: When will the two stacks of cups have the same amount of cups and be the same height? 1) On slide one... a) Collect the data required to fill out the table. Use the label tool or pen tool to complete the tables. b) Use the photo tool to upload pictures of the two cups you chose to complete your project. c) Use the caption tool to voice record your observations and patterns. 2) On slides 2-5, use the mic and pen tool to answer the questions about your data.

Teacher Notes (not visible to students)

Provide students with 5-6 different options of cups (dixie cups, solo cups, paper cups, cone cups, etc.) to choose from. Do not provide them with more than 8 of each to prevent them from skipping the calculations. Option: Have one team recorder create "add response" and tag all their teammates upon submission.
