RL2.6 Distinguish differences in the points of view of characters, including by speaking in a different voice for each character when reading dialogue aloud. Read "Thunder Cake" aloud 2 - 3 times and practice using an appropriate voice for each character. Then, tap the and listen to the author and the voices she chooses for the characters. How were your voices different or the same as her voice choices? Now, on the student template, highlight the voice of each character in different colors and practice using different voices for each. When you are confident of your character's voices, yourself reading this page in the book.
