This oral reading practice series for first graders encourages rereading of texts and uses passages from an older version of the DIBELS oral reading assessment that can be found at this link https://dibels.uoregon.edu/docs/materials/DORF_G1_PM_6th_Ed.pdf. At this link, you can also find the support oral reading record pages to record student reading fluency behaviors and reading rate. You can use the time bar at the bottom of the student's recording to measure how many words correct per minute he or she is reading. Typical first graders can read between 40 and 60 words correct per minute to support comprehension.
