This is a five day project for you to complete at home. One page should be completed every day for the next 5 days. Telling time is a third grade skill that should be mastered. The best way for you to learn something is to apply it to what you do every day. The fourth grade teachers are hopeful that by the time you have finished this project you will be time masters! Directions: Every day you will log a beginning time, an ending time, and the elapsed time on three different activities that you do. One of them should be sleep, as it normally goes across the AM/PM timeframe and is a bit more trick to figure out. No, we are not trying to monitor how much sleep you get or get into your personal activities, we are trying to teach you how to read time, understand time, and manipulate time. Page 1 is an example of what your log should look like to receive credit. Pages two through six are where you will log your information. This is NOT an optional activity. It is what we are doing for RTI / Success time this week, so it is important that you show us you know and understand this concept. IT IS DUE BY MONDAY, 11/16! Important! Although most families have a similar routine every day, your days will vary, meaning they will be slightly different here and there. Because of that, the teachers do not want to see five pages that look exactly the same. This will not count as a completed assignment if that is what you turn in. Let’s get started!
