🍐🍒🍓🍎Bowl of Fruit Still Life Lesson✏️🖼️ seesaw Learning Intention Students will learn how artists create a still life, practise drawing from real objects, and explore how digital filters can change the mood or style of an artwork. 1. Watch the Video Students watch the YouTube clip: “Bowl of Fruit Still Life Lesson” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Y528yBwpvU While watching, students pay attention to: How the artist blocks shapes How shading creates depth How colours and outlines are added 2. Draw Your Own Bowl of Fruit Teacher provides a real bowl of fruit on each table. Students lightly sketch: Basic shapes first (circles, ovals, cylinders) Bowl outlines Fruit overlapping each other Add details: Shadows Texture Colour (pencils, crayons or textas) 3. Photograph the Drawing Using the iPad camera: Place the drawing on a flat surface. Hold the iPad steady above it. Take one clear, well‑lit photo of the completed artwork. 4. Create Four Filtered Versions Using the Camera app or Photos on the iPad: Open the photo. Tap Edit → Filters. Choose four different filters (e.g., Vivid, Noir, Dramatic, Silvertone, Warm, Cool). Save each filtered version as a new image. 5. Upload to Seesaw On the Seesaw activity page provided by the teacher: Tap Add Response Upload: The original photo of the drawing The four filtered versions Arrange the images neatly (e.g., collage layout or individual slides). Record a short voice comment explaining: Which filter you liked best How the filter changed the mood or look of your artwork check
