Raccoon Writing

Grades: 2nd Grade, Kindergarten, 1st Grade
Subjects: Writing, English Language Arts, Science

Student Instructions

Instead of interviewing one of your classmates, you will be learning more about raccoons in this short video. 1. Click on the link to learn some fun facts about raccoons. Watch it as many times as you need. 2. Using the label tool, write a short informative piece about raccoons. Remember to include a topic sentence, 2 or more facts, and a closing sentence...just like you do with the Student of the Week writing at the Writing Center. 3. Read what you've written to make sure it sounds good and makes sense. Check for capitals and periods. 4. Use the drawing tool to add a picture to your writing. If there is no room, use the +Add Page tool on the bottom right of your screen to add another page and draw your picture there. 5. Use the mic tool to record what you wrote. 6. Use the check tool to turn it in to me. Take your time and do your best. I can't wait to see your work!😀
