Today’s activity is a counting activity. Watch the attached video of ‘One elephant went out to play’. This is one of very few nursery rhymes where we add one each time instead of taking away. Now it's time to try some counting and adding one and record what you have learned. Remember to tap the add button to begin. Use your very careful counting to count the holes in the first Numicon piece. Some of you may even know the value of each piece by simply looking at it. Next use the pen or pencil tool to write the value of each Numicon piece on the line under it. Remember to check your answers by counting each time to make sure you have written the correct number.
