Teachers, save “Toon Me Challenge- Media and Methods in Art” to assign it to your class.

We have been working on media and methods in art. Have you seen the #toonme challenge? Artists are drawing half of their faces in a cartoon face, and leaving half of their faces as a photo. This design will be created using ArtStudio the same way you created your “Art Changes Perceptions” piece. Using ArtStudio, upload a photo of yourself. 1. Click “file” and then “import from photos.” 2. Click on the bottom left side “layers” icon, so you are working in layer two. 3. In layer 2, trace half of your face, then bucket fill with colors. 4. You may add extra cartoon features to your design, or create a background. 5. When completed, click “file,” then “save as,” then “export” then “jpeg.” 6. After you’ve saved it as a jpeg, then “export to photos.” From there, upload to Seesaw!
