Hi Lead Character Designers! We are continuing our Collaboration In Art unit and finishing up our character designs using art apps such as Art Studio and Sketchbook. Remember, last week we took a tour around Pixar Animation Studios and came to the conclusion that several people (maybe even hundreds) collaborate to make each animated movie. You were then assigned as lead character designer and decided on a Pixar movie to think about a sequel and create a brand new character! 1. Watch the video https://youtu.be/O5K7PzAfz9E 2. Take a pic of your character sketch and upload that pic in Art Studio app (or any other art making app of your choice.) 3. It is important to add a new layer in which you will finish up your character, by tracing and coloring digitally. 4. Upload your final finished character on Slide 1 of the Seesaw template. BONUS: Does your character have a name? Tell us about your character. What is your character's personality traits? What is the backstory and motives of your character? Optional: Share additional sketches of your character. Did you draw storyboards of your character stuck in an elevator? What would your character do? Please make sure to include visuals (sketches) of these too. Remember: This is an optional activity if you have extra time. Next week, we will look into settings for our character.
