Student Instructions
You need to add the suffix -ed to the words.

Some words will require you to double the last letter before you add -ed.
Once you have finished editing the words you will need to press the 
and record the rule you need to follow when doubling the last letter.
Please be aware that not all the words will need the -ed added to it. Some words are irregular verbs and have a different spelling. See if you can spot them and write the correct past tense for those words.
Teacher Notes (not visible to students)
Students will need to have an understanding of what a consonant and a vowel is. Students will need the knowledge of irregular verbs when changing the verb to the past tense.
