🗣Learning Intention: We are learning to design, create and build a bridge by experimenting with shapes and materials. ⭐Success Criteria: We can build a bridge that stays upright and supports the weight of a heavy object. Look out 👀 for my Bitmojis to give further instructions on each page. Make sure to press the voice to listen!👂 BEFORE responding: 1. Listen to the story, 'Iggy Peck Architect' by Andrea Beaty in the example. 2. Become an architect like Iggy Peck! Watch the videos about bridges. 2. Plan and design your bridge. 3. Create it and test it with an object such as a toy car. 4. Improve it! 💭What changes do you need to make to it to support your object? Can you improve it so it can hold an even heavier object such as a can of food? Add response add: 5. Record a video of your creation and explain how you made it (alternatively you can take a photo and use the mic tool). Points for discussion: 🗨️ Why did you choose to build this type of bridge? 🗨️ What materials did you use? 🗨️ How did you make it? 🗨️ What problems did you have and how did you solve them? 🗨️ How did you improve your bridge? Press check to submit your work to your teacher.
