A - considered use of visual, non-verbal and contextual support to make meaning of simple texts - Students can show copy and show all of the numbers without hesitation. B - effective use of visual, non-verbal and contextual support to make meaning of simple texts - students can show at least 8 out of the 10 numbers quite confidently with only a little hesitation at times. C - use of visual, non-verbal and contextual support to make meaning of simple texts (AS3) - students can copy up to 7 numbers correctly. They may be hesitant, they may self correct but they do get the number of fingers, the word and the action correct. D - partial use of visual, non-verbal and contextual support to make meaning of simple texts - Students get 6 or less of the numbers correct. They need support to show 4 or more of the numbers on their fingers, to say the word and do the action. E - directed use of visual, non-verbal and contextual support to make meaning of simple texts. Students need one on one support to complete this task.
