Student Instructions

We are learning about onomatopoeia, or words that represent sounds. First enjoy listening to the onomatopoeia clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f1b5kCvVBo8 With an adult discuss any other onomatopoeia and write them down in your jottter either as a mind map or in a list Next listen to Mr. Brown Can Moo! Can You? by Dr. Seuss. After listening to the story use the microphone tool to say some of the onomatopoeia in the book out loud. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=erZKQ9ctiHg Then watch the clip: How to draw a Pop Art onomatopoeia which is attached below After that choose between one - three onomatopoeia words to create your own PopArt writing using the drawing tool or on paper Finally post a picture of your work and/or use the microphone tool to show off your PopArt and say the onomatopoeia words out loud
