The common states of matter are described as solids, liquids, and gases. Liquids are a form of matter that takes up a definite amount of space and has no definite shape. The purpose of this activity is to animate a liquid using ChatterPix. Liquids have a lot to chatter about... * change shape easily * take the shape of their container * allow a solid to pass through them easily * are visible * take up space (definite volume) * have mass * becomes gas when heated to the boiling point * becomes solid when cooled to the freezing point * have particles that slip and slide past each other * have particles less packed than a solid, but more than a gas 1. Think 💡of a liquid to animate. 2. Open ChatterPix. 3. Take a photo fo your liquid. 4. Draw a mouth on your liquid. 5. Record facts about liquids. 6. Save to your camera roll. 7. Click Add on this activity.
