Map Skills Practice

Use the tool to answer each question on the map. 1. Use green to circle the name of the region located at 40* N and 115* W. 2. Use red to circle the name of the region that has the least number of states. 3. Use light blue to color in the 5 Great Lakes. 4. Use orange to circle the names of the 2 regions that have the Mississippi River running through them. 5. Use yellow to circle the name of the region that has a state located the farthest east on the map. 6. Use purple to circle the direction on the compass rose that you would travel if you were going from the West region to the Midwest region. 7. Use pink to circle the latitude line on the map that is closest to the Equator. 8. Use black to circle the longitude line on the map that is closest to the Prime Meridian. 9. Use grey to circle the map tool used to show distance between places on the map. 10. Use white to color in the state in which we all live.
