Student Instructions

Pretend you are a meteorologist and report about the different kinds of weather where you live and around the United States today! First, click the link to watch the fun Kindergarten Forecast video as an example. Next, go outside (or look out the window) and observe the weather where you live. Then, give your weather report: mic Click the mic to start your weather report. move Drag the weather symbol that you observed to your state as you give the weather report. Drag at least 3 other kinds of weather symbols to the US map (you can pretend to know what the weather is in different areas). *Be sure to describe what the weather looks and feels like. What clothes might you need? What activities might you do in that weather? check Click to submit.

Objective: Students will observe the weather where they live and make a weather report including preparing for the type of weather by describing proper clothing and/or activities suitable for that weather.. They will identify and use weather symbols.
