You are going to practice writing three digit numbers in expanded form. READ THROUGH THE DIRECTIONS 2 TIMES BEFORE YOU START THE ACTIVITY. Then you may begin. 1) Read each of the three digit numbers in their standard form. 2) Use the DRAW tool or the LABEL tool and show the number in expanded form. 3) RECORD yourself reading the expanded form and how many hundreds, tens and ones are represented. Example: 100 + 70 + 3 = 173. There are 1 hundreds, 7 tens and 3 ones in 173.
