Spin the wheel 3 times and on the 4th time see where it lands. (One slot is blank, if you land on this one, make up a story of your choice.) Read the word. What does it make you think about? Tell someone your thoughts. If you have trouble speaking about it, ask yourself what is important or special about the word. Do you have a memory of something that happened that reminds you of this word? Is it a good memory or not so good? Share your ideas with someone. Your Teddy Bear is a good listener too! Draw a picture about it. Write 4 or 5 simple but quality sentences about this topic. Check that your sentences have a capital at the beginning and a period at the end. Use spelling strategies like: sight words you can spell, first and last letter sound and stretching the word, using word chunks you know and short vowel sounds.
