This activity is designed to accompany the reading of a chapter book. Students will read a chapter of their book and then complete the slide for that chapter. Slides use the new frames feature so that students know how to respond to each question. Students should then save their work as a draft. Once the book is completed, they can submit the activity. Students will need to use a variety of reading skills including summarizing, predicting, inferring, naming the main character and character traits, identifying the problem, making connections, and more. This activity was designed to be used independently by students, however you could also use it as part of a small group activity with more support and supervision.
