There are so many incredible authors and storytellers in the world. This week you are going to interview a family member to discover who their favorite author or storyteller is and why. 1. Be ready to ask these questions: - Who is your favorite author or storyteller? - Why? - What do you think makes them a great author or storyteller? - What kind of books would you say you like most? Fiction, non-fiction, funny, scary, animal stories etc. 3. Choose a tool to record your interview. 4. Reflect on your interview. What did you learn about the kinds of books and stories your family member likes? Are they similar to the kinds of storytellers and authors you like? 5. Tap the green check to add to your journal. Optional: Write a list of your favorite authors. Send a note to a friend and share your list. Ask them to share a list of great books with you. Family Why: Talking about books and stories with our children builds an interest and love of reading and stories.
