How Fireworks Work...With An At Home Experiment!

Have you ever wondered how those spectacular fireworks actually light up the nighttime sky? This lesson provides details from the ground all the way up until the firework bursts with the glory of its spectacular light show! The lesson also has a bonus experiment, which is super easy to recreate at home! Watch as a mix of vegetable oil, food coloring, and water create underwater fireworks! 1. Click on the student response template: Fireworks. 4. Now that you have learned about the science behind how fireworks work, using Seesaw's pen or pencil tools, draw a fireworks display in the nighttime sky! 5. Tap check when you are finished.
