Design Your Chocolate Bar

Grades: 5th Grade
Subjects: Multilingual Learners

Student Instructions

For this activity, you need to consider the shape and flavour of your chocolate bar. Think carefully about the following: - If you have the words 'pop' or 'zang' in your name or slogan, what flavours do these words relate to? - What about the shape? Are bubbles going to be squares of chocolate or circlular? - Don't overfill your chocolate bar with too many flavours as people won't like it! In the boxes, design three different chocolate bars related to your chosen brand and slogan. I would like you to label each element within each design. For example, you could bullet point on the left-hand side the different features or draw a line and label parts on the chocolate bar - it is up to you! REMEMBER - the more detail the better. Your evaluation at the end must use keywords such as: target audience, customers, attraction, purchasing, uniqueness, memorable, eye-catching etc.
