Student Instructions
1. Tap 2. Read each picture. Sound it out. 3. Use tool and type one word for each line. Each word is one syllable. If you are unsure of a word, ask an adult. 4. If you are unsure of how to spell a word remember to write the sounds you hear. You can use the tool and place a smile on the words you want to skip. Remember, its okay to make mistakes -- trust yourself and try - you may be surprised :) 5. When done, check your work for quality. Make changes as needed. 6. Finally, tap when done to add it your journal. CHALLENGE: If you have extra time, use and read the words you have written.
List of words 1-20: rope, tube, kite, kick, mule, sock, bike, duck, smoke, lock, cape, five, bone, rake, tape, rock, flute, stove, book, sack Due the limited space it is best to have students use the Label tool -- bonus, they not only get to practice spelling patterns but learn how to keyboard in the process, great practice for being familiar with using computers to write and practice for those standardized tests that use computers.
