Book Snap - Figurative Language While reading your own book look for examples of Alliterations. Alliteration- two or more words starting with the same beginning sounds. Example: Silly salmon Take a picture of the page that you found the figurative language. Underline the Alliteration on the picture. Next record yourself reading the alliteration AND adding one more word to the phrase to make a longer alliteration.
