Teacher Notes (not visible to students)

Have your students create a list of adjectives that describe Fall. Have students use the label feature to create their own "Fall is..." adjective word clouds. Show several examples of word clouds and then show students how to add their adjectives using the label tool. Show how to change the font, color, border, and size of their adjectives if needed. Model how to duplicate their words and how to overlap words to use common letters. Tell students that they must use fall colors for their words and that their title must be larger than their adjectives. We also modeled how to use the duplicate tool so students could quickly add another word. ** We printed our word clouds, cut them out and added them to a watercolor leaf project. Have students also cut out the QR code and add it to the project so others can scan and hear about their favorite part of Fall. This would be a great, interactive project for a hall display for Parent-Teacher conferences or a Fall Open House.
