Science - Making Snowman Puffpaint

Student Instructions

Today you will mix two things together to make something different. You will be able to observes, investigates describes, and discusses properties and characteristics of glue and shaving cream. 1. Tap on the video to see how the activity should be done. 2. Gather your materials: One bottle of Elmer's glue (or generic type) One can of shaving cream 1/4 C measuring cup bowel for mixing card stock or construction paper (you or an adult can outline a snowman if wanted) Either googly eyes, buttons, or circles cut out of black paper and a carrot nose cut out of orange construction paper. you can also use rectangles to make a hat and long rectangles to make a scarf. 3. measure out 1/4 cup of glue and 1/4 cup of shaving cream into the mixing bowel and use your hands to mix them together. 4. Paint a snowman on the paper. 5. Add items to make the snowman such as eyes and a nose, a hat and a scarf. 6. Take a picture of your snowman and post in Seesaw. Let him dry over night. 7. Tap on the check to submit to your journal.
