Plural Noun and Dictionary Practice

For this activity you will practice using an online dictionary to find the correct spelling of plural nouns. A singular noun is a single person, place, or thing. A plural noun is more than one person, place, or thing. 1) Click to begin. 2) We will work together to use the dictionary to spell the plurals of each noun. 3) On page 2 you will try to this on your own. 4) Click to turn in your finished activity.

Teaching how to use a dictionary to help spell words is a valuable skill. I taught my students to use the Seesaw screenshot extension to copy/paste the plural spellings of each word they found, as an extra skill to practice (this is not necessary, of course!).
