When we look confident and are assertive we are less likely to be picked on by bullies or other people that may wish to harm us. This activity you will look at your own strengths and uniqueness. This will help to build your confidence. Each page of this activity has a different quality/statement; think hard about the quality and move the star shape to where you feel you sit with this quality. Then write a brief statement about how you show or live that quality. For example, if you show that you contribute things to your family, you could tell us how, it might be that you feed the chickens and the cats, or you take out the rubbish. Take your time to really think about each quality/statement. We all have different strengths and are able to contribute in many different ways. That's what makes us unique or special. Tap to create a journal entry for this activity. Tap to move the star marker to where you feel you are on the continuum line. Tap to write your comment. Tap if you need to complete this activity later. Tap to add this to your journal when you have finished it.
This activity has been created using resources from the New Zealand Police Keeping Ourselves Safe programme. It is intended to be used in the classroom with year 3-6 students.
