Extend Your Learning: Make up your own questions based on your family. You can also take a turn being the teacher and see how well your family members do answering your questions with a raised hand.
Family Why: Knowing how to signal that you are ready to participate and answer questions is an important skill for success in the classroom. Being able to wait for your turn to speak takes a lot of practice for many young learners. Playing a game is a fun way to practice this skill.

The kids can answer questions they already know and in their own homes. This activity allows students to practice patience as well as practice following classroom rules. ####How to Use This Lesson: This lesson can be used at the beginning of the school year when the class is learning rules and routines.
