Let's learn about rectangles! First, watch the video from Ms. Elaine on page 1. Then, go to page 2 where you will see different shapes. Tap mic You need to look for the rectangles. Remember to find shapes that have 4 STRAIGHT SIDES and 3 VERTICES! Move the rectangles into the box above. And keep the other shapes below. Supporting Adults: As this stage, there is no expectation that the children are easily able to identify shapes or their attributes or to use the correct vocabulary right now. You can support them by using the vocabulary of SIDE and VERTICES (or vertex for one) as well as helping them identify what a side and vertex are. (Please do not use the term corner.
