Student Instructions

1) On the first multiplication table, color all of the numbers that have two as a factor. 2) On the second multiplication table, color all of the numbers that have three as a factor. 3) On the third multiplication table, color all of the numbers that have four as a factor. 4) Then answer these questions: - What pattern do you see in the colored boxes? - How does the pattern of multiples of 3 compare to the pattern of multiples of 2? - How is the table with factors of four different from the first two tables? Why do you think it is so different? These questions can be answered using any tool you choose.
