Student Instructions
Today I want to teach you that you don’t just think about life lessons at the end of the story. You can also think about them when you start reading a book. You can try to predict what the lesson will be even before you start to read, thinking right from the start, “I wonder if this is going to be one of those stories that teaches you...” Listen to the beginning of this story, Should I Share My Ice Cream? Use any seesaw tool to guess what the lesson will be before you finish the book. Use clues from the title page, the pictures and the characters’ feelings and actions.
