Student Instructions

Think about it. Are tiny homes practical for real living? Click on the link to watch the instructional video about opinion writing on the example slide. SLIDE 1 (learn about it): Watch the video about tiny homes 2 times. First, watch it for fun. The second time, you're on a fact finding mission. Which facts will help you to get your reader to agree with your opinion of tiny homes? Add those facts to your notes. SLIDE 2 (planning): Use the drawing and label tool to write and draw pictures to fill in the 4-square writing organizer. Use your notes to help you. SLIDES 3 & 4 (writing): On these slides you will have a MINIMUM of 7 sentences. Use the pen tool to write an opinion paper about whether or not you think tiny homes should be considered a real option for long term living. Remember to indent. INCLUDE: 1. an introduction that captures the reader's attention and states your main idea (What is your opinion about roller coasters? Clearly state it!) 2. your reasons from your organizer that clearly show your opinion 3. a conclusion that restates your main idea and cleverly closes your paper Tap mic Read your story Tap pause To end your recording Tap check To upload your story to your portfolio
