Color Wheel Modeling Clay Mixing

Grades: 3rd Grade

Student Instructions

1) Take a blank color wheel sheet and a piece of each color of modeling clay (red, yellow and blue) and divide each piece into 3 smaller pieces. 2) Put one of each color to the side (one red, one yellow and one blue) 3) Take one piece of blue and one piece of red and mix together to make a new color. Put the new color to the side. 4) Take one piece of blue and one piece of yellow and mix together to make a new color. Put the new color to the side. 5) Take one piece of yellow and one piece of red and mix together to make a new color. Put the new color to the side. 6) Now you should have six colors all together. Place each piece in the correct spot on the color wheel provided. 7) Click the add button add 8) Either take a picture photo of the final color wheel or make a video video explaining how you made your color wheel with the final color wheel shown in the video. 9) Click check to finish
