Teachers, save “Instructional writing” to assign it to your class.

You have been asked to write a set of instructions. Write a set of clear instructions that tell the reader how they could successfully prepare and eat a bowl of cereal. Think about what they would need (cereal, milk, spoon?) and how they would prepare it and then what they should do in order to eat it. Don't forget! Instructions should be: numbered, in chronological order, include imperative verbs, include time connectives, be clear. Don't miss out any details, even if they seem obvious!
