4th Graders, 1. LESSON: Listen to the Study Jam Science Lesson about (Landforms, Rocks, and Minerals) EARTHQUAKES and look at the vocabulary. Take notes on a piece of paper while you watch the video so you are prepared to show your understanding about earthquakes. Then take the quiz and check your answers when you are done. 2. ACTIVITY: Use the information you have learned to define an earthquake, draw an earthquake diagram, and explain your understandings on how an earthquake happens. To do this ACTIVITY complete the following steps... add Click add to begin. label Write a DEFINITION for EARTHQUAKE drawing DRAW and LABEL your EARTHQUAKE DIAGRAM using these vocabulary words: plates, earth layers, earth crust, seismic waves, fault mic RECORD yourself EXPLAINING HOW AN EARTHQUAKE WORKS using your diagram and glowpen or arrow to show where you are referring to.
