Scroll down to “Day 2 - Living Things: Plants”.
Listen to the two books (fictional and factual) and watch the video.
Respond to the activity in this Seesaw post using the attached template.
Take a picture of edible plant parts.
Label the foods (e.g., “celery” or “carrot”).
Record yourself telling what part of the plant each food item is (e.g., “Celery is a stem. Carrots are roots.”)
Extension - Add emojis that represent each plant part.
Press the green ckeckmark to submit your work.

Students will listen to the stories and watch the video posted on the “Scholastic Learn at Home” website. They will then take a picture of an edible plant parts snack, label the foods, and record themselves telling what part of the plant each food is. Students can also find emojis to represent each plant part.
