Teachers, save “Ostinato Station: Create an Ostinato for…” to assign it to your class.

You have learned the various rhythm patterns for Drill Ye Tarriers Drill. They are sixteenth note sets, two sixteenths/eighth, one eighth/sixteenth, and dotted eighth/sixteenth. Create a four beat ostinato using two of these patterns. See my video example, but don't use mine! Make sure your hands are close enough to the mic so I can hear your pattern. Use musical clapping. Keep one hand still and the other one moving, moving from your wrist only. (See my video for an example). We will select various ostinati to be clapped while students are singing in class.
