This is an original drawing used in UK Keystage 3 Science lessons. Typical Learning Objective: identify unsafe practice in the Science laboratory. Typical lesson format: Starter: Allow children to submit ideas of un-safe practices in the Science Lab through raising their hand, sticky notes or a website such as Padlet. Part 1 main: This Seesaw activity Part 2 main: Allow children to create a safety poster to showcase ONE rule (hand drawn, within Seesaw or a different app). These can be uploaded to Seesaw. Plenary: On Seesaw, turn on 'pupils can see each others work' and 'pupils can comment' to allow peer feedback.
