When you make an inference, you use clues provided within a text or picture, along with the knowledge that you already have, to figure out information that has not been given to you. As a detective, you can use clues and evidence plus your own knowledge to make an inference. An inference is a conclusion based upon reasoning, and it allows you to figure out information that may be missing in a text or picture. Use your detective skills! 1. Click the link to watch the video. 2. Click add to open the template. 3. Observe πŸ‘€ the rocks. Pick a rock to identify using the rock chart. 4. Take a photo of the first rock. Use the rock chart to complete slide 1. 5. Repeat this process until you have identified all five rocks and completed slides 1-5. 6. Click the green check to save.
