Mrs. Berry’s Class Protests the 100th Day!

Grades: 2nd Grade
Subjects: Physical Education, Math, STEAM

Student Instructions

We “discovered” during our 2nd grade calendar 📆 math that we have been going to school A LOT longer than 💯 days! 😆 We understand our kindergarten friends are excited to celebrate 🎉 their first 100 days of “real school” but that doesn’t mean the rest of us should get denied credit 😮for all the days of hard work we have completed so far in our academic 📝📚careers. We decided to revolt, protest, mutiny against the same old “💯th Day” activities 🥳 and collaborate to create our own 460th Day celebration!! 1. Click on the add button. 2. Click on your name. 3. Use ANY of the tools to design an activity that our class could do to celebrate 🎉 the 460th day of school. 4. Click the green ✅ to submit your idea 💡 to me for approval. Remember you may need to click the ✅ more than once.

Teacher Notes (not visible to students)

The class came up with all sorts of ideas like how many laps could they run in 460 seconds and did the math to find out how long 460 seconds actually is! 😁 We saw who could build the tallest play-doh tower in 460 sec. Used 460 playing cards in one giant class house of cards. We made a 460th day snack. (It’s in the photo attached to the activity!)
