Student Instructions

Elapsed Time Clock Practice

Write an elapsed time word problem for your classmates to solve. Before writing your word problem, THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU WANT YOUR AUDIENCE TO SOLVE FOR. They should be either solving for, start time, end time, or elapsed time. Then, make sure to include the correct information and reread your problem to make sure it makes sense. Solve your own problem in your strategy notebook so you know the correct answer and that a solution is possible. 1. Use the label tool to write your word problem at the top of the page. 2. Choose a style for your writing and text box that is easy to read. 3. Use the mic to clearly read your word problem. 4. Click the check twice to post your problem. 5. Select the math folder to put it in. 6. Wait for your classmates to solve your word problem! 🙂
