Wit and Wisdom 2.3 Informative Writing

1. Click the add. 2. If you haven't already, please listen to Miss Tanisha's Learning Video. In the 2nd half, she teaches us about Informative Writing and the parts the an Informative Paragraph. She calls it a sandwich, but I think it looks more like a hamburger. What do you think? The 3 parts are 1) Topic Statement, 2) Information (facts and details), and 3) Conclusion. 3. Today's activity has 2 levels. Everyone needs to complete pages 1. If you are ready for a challenge, try completing pages 2 also! On pages 1, use the move tool to move the sentences to the correct part of the Hamburger Paragraph. On pages 2, use the highlighter or pen tools to annotate (underline or takes notes) for each part of the paragraph on Tortoises. Topic Statement is Light Green Information is Yellow Conclusion is Dark Green 4. Click the check to turn in your work.
