Today you will be completing Understanding Dividing by 4. This activity will walk you through 3 different types of activities to help you visualize (see) what dividing by 4 looks like. Work on this activity until you complete it, it is ok to save it as a draft draft. 1. Click add button to start. 2. Read the directions on the first page that explains the three parts to the activity. 3. Read the directions for each section, watch the video if you need to see an example. 4. First, use the pen pen tool to make jumps on the number line, say each multiplication fact as you make the jumps. Explain the patterns you see using the mic microphone or adding a caption caption. 5. Next, roll the fact cube 🎲 and record the fact. Model the fact twice, once with 4 equal groups and then again with groups of 4. Use any tool to show your work. Lastly, write a related division fact. 6. Finally visualize some real world problems connected to division. Make a model to solve each fact, then write the answer with a label. 7. Work on this activity until you are finished. Click the draft orange check to save your work as a draft and return to it later. 8. Click check the check to submit your work when you have finished.
