Grades: 6th Grade, 4th Grade, 5th Grade
Subjects: Social Studies

Student Instructions

After viewing one or more anti-suffragist posters from the past, it is time to create a new version of one of those posters that reflects our modern focus on diversity, equality, and unity when participating in our democracy. When creating your new poster, consider how you can show how we have grown and changed since the original examples were made. There are a few ways you can do this: 1. Draw your poster outside of SeeSaw, then click the add button. Choose photo to capture it and share with your teacher. Remember, you can always add captions, your voice, or drawings to your photo. 2. Click the add button to start your project, then use the :draw: tool in SeeSaw to create your poster. Remember, you can always use the label function to add text to your poster, or you can add captions later. When you are done, be sure to click check to submit your work to your teacher.
