Students love celebrating holidays. National Crayon Day is March 31st. I created this for my students to create a broken crayon drawing. I got the idea from https://www.debbieohi.com/brokencrayon-classroom/ I read Gurple and Preen: A Broken Crayon Cosmic Adventure by Linda Sue Park and Debi Ridpath Ohi to my students. I think you can read any crayon book to go long with this activity.
