PSHE: Design Your Own Emotion Character

Grades: 2nd Grade, 3rd Grade, 4th Grade
Subjects: Social Studies, Character Building

Student Instructions

The characters in Inside Out are carefully designed around shapes and features which we might associate with each emotion. For example, Sadness looks like a teardrop, and Anger bursts into red flames. 1. Think of an emotion that does not appear in the film and design your own character for them! 2. Draw a picture of what they’d look like. Be sure to use appropriate colours, clothing and shapes. 3. Explain your choices.
