There are all sorts of animals who live in cities where people live, and there are many ways we can be a good neighbor to our wildlife friends. One of these ways is creating a humane backyard or space around our homes. 1. Read the "Humane Backyard Handout." It describes eight different items that people can put in their backyard or around their homes to make wildlife feel welcome and safe. 2. Open the Humane Backyard template and choose three items from the handout that you want to put around your imaginary house. Use the to draw three different animals in your backyard using the three different items you chose. 3. Next, use to record yourself explaining what items you put in your backyard and what animals are enjoying them. Finally, submit your drawing and recording.
