Student Instructions

Matter occurs in three states, or forms – solid, liquid, or gas. A change of state occurs when a substance is transformed from one state of matter to another. The state a particular type of matter takes depends on its temperature. For matter to change from one state to another, there must be a change in temperature. The melting point is the temperature in which a substance changes from a solid to a liquid. 1. Find an example of a solid becoming a liquid. 2. Document the change using photos or videos. 3. Use the app of your choice to describe this change in state. 4. Upload to Seesaw.
